He was the world's foremost expert on Adhesive Arachnoiditis and a faithful and steadfast advocate and friend to all those suffering from this condition. Adhesive arachnoiditis (AA) is an inflammatory disease of the spinal canal in which cauda equina nerve roots become attached by adhesions to the arachnoid-dural (meninges) covering of the spinal canal.

Geomagnetic Activity and Respiratory Health

We often spend time providing warnings and general discussions about the effects of severe solar weather, particularly with respect to health and wellness. Every so often we find a study that provides better detail about the specific impact to people groups. -- X-1.0 Solar Flare - Incoming Coronal Mass Ejection --

Overnight last night the sun produced three solar flares, which each released CMEs heading in our direction. According to the NOAA model, these three CMEs are expected to arrive in relatively close timing, which may collectively produce a moderate to strong intensity geomagnetic storm. The storm is expected tomorrow night from our standpoint in AZ. This may very well produce aurora borealis, given the very high predicted net solar wind speed. If you live in the southern US, it is very likely that you will see aurora if you live in a dark enough neighborhood.

This notice is for all the highly sensitive folks we work with and support. When we experience high energy impacts from the sun, such as with CME's, we can experience elevated heart rate, palpitations, nausea, dizziness, headache, and other symptoms related to autonomic dysfunction. In more severe situations, we have seen people experience syncope, seizure, heart attacks, and stroke. Many people have told us they experience mild symptoms, they enjoy grounding/earthing with bare feet on the ground or dipping into an in-ground pool. As these x-flares and associated CME's can produce serious symptoms, please do not ignore how you are feeling, and reach out for help if you feel unwell.

-- X-1.4 Solar Flare - Incoming Coronal Mass Ejection --

Last night (MST) we experienced a low-level X-class solar flare, though wide duration in its action. This may be why we received many reports of symptoms flaring yesterday. The CME is due to make impact with earth as early as the next 24 hours.

This notice is for all the highly sensitive folks we work with and support. The sun released an X8.1 Solar Flare this afternoon at 4:57 PM (MST). If you noticed a headache or dizziness around this time, this may be why. After first glance of this NASA satellite feed, it does not appear that there will be much of a CME heading this way. We won't be sure until NOAA updates the space weather forecast model tomorrow. In the mean time we have a very cranky set of sunspots making their way across the sun right now, and there may be more to come from this regarding intense space weather. We will post an update tomorrow after NOAA updates their prediction model.
