Mr. Larry Eugene Minor, age 68, of Park City, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Larry was born in Glasgow on November 8, 1957, a son of David Ervin Minor and Loretta Doris Cutliff. Larry drove a truck for Ryder for several years. He was an avid Dale Earnhart fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his father, David Ervin Minor of Cave City, his mother, Loretta Doris (Cutliff) Gleason of Glasgow, one son, Larry Dale Minor and wife Marcie. Two grandchildren, Jonathan Minor and Kaili Minor, one sister, Sharon Frazier and companion Melvin Harrison of Glasgow. Two nephews Jonathan Minor and wife Nicole of Burns, Tennessee and Chris Minor and wife Bridget of Bowling Green, niece Tara Lair and husband Doug of Owensboro, and companion Bonnie Tibbs of Cave City.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sonya Renee Minor, and brother Ervin Darrell Minor.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Garrold Johnson will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, after 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Today we proudly celebrate the 250th anniversary of America and our nation’s Independence Day.

As we gather with family and friends, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have shaped our country for generations. We are grateful to those who have served and continue to serve in protecting the freedoms we cherish.

Mr. Eugene Cornelius “Neil” Ford, age 78, a lifelong resident of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born in Cave City, on January 8, 1948, a son of the late Eugene Cornelius, Sr. and Jewell Maxine McCoy Ford. He attended Cave City Christian Church. He held a bachelor’s degree in business management and was a retiree of Sumitomo. Neil enjoyed sports and especially playing golf, as well as, doing crossword puzzles and watching old movies in his spare time.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Carol Ford of Cave City; two sons, Eric Cornelius Ford and Ian McCoy Ford, both of Cave City; Lifelong Friends, Carl Davis, Jr. and Vivian Gardner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a lifelong friend, Joe B. Gardner.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Cave City Cemetery, with burial to follow. Brother Freddy Paul will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cave City Christian Church, and mailed to 300 Broadway Street, Cave City, Kentucky 42127.

Mr. Leon Hiram Crabtree, age 82, of Horse Cave, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Leon was born in Glasgow, on September 29, 1943, a son of the late Harm and Ruby (Carver) Crabtree. He was a graduate of Glasgow High School and obtained his HVAC Certificate in 1991. Leon served in the United States Army Special Forces Unit and was drafted in the Vietnam War. He loved watching NASCAR, drag racing, and attending racing events at Beech Bend.

He is survived by two sons, Steve Hiram Crabtree and wife Angela of Bowling Green, and Anthony Jerome Damron and wife Charlsa of Cave City. Seven Grandchildren, Dakota D. Woodcock and wife Tishia, Jessica J. Sprouse, Jacob D. Crabtree, Shana E. Edge, Ethan K. Damron, Nathan H. Vibbert, and Ashli M. McCarty. Six Great-Grandchildren, Laken, Cora, Emerson, Paislee, Olivia, and Georga, and one son-in-law Dwayne Canler also survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deanna Lynn (Short) Crabtree, one son Leslie Hiram “L. H.” Woodcock, two daughters, Stacey Lenell Canler and Star Lynn Vibbert, and one brother Jerry Crabtree.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery. Dakota D. Woodcock will officiate the service, and Military Honors will be provided by DAV Chapter 20.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, after 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Betty Jo (Pedigo) Sexton, age 96, of Hiseville, Kentucky, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Betty was born in Barren County, on December 2, 1929, a daughter of the late Raymond and Bessie (Jessie) Pedigo. She married Rev. Riley Sexton, and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2020. Betty was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on their family farm. She was a faithful member of the Basil Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Daryl Sexton, and his fiancée Sharon, two daughters, Deborah Taylor and husband Jerry, and Shelia Hodge and husband Mike. Five grandchildren, along with eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survive.

In addition to her parents, Raymond and Bessie Pedigo, she was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Riley Sexton, one daughter in law, Connie Denise Sexton, one sister, Edna Parsley, three brothers, Albert Pedigo, Leslie Pedigo, and Danny Ray Pedigo.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in the Hiseville Cemetery. Bro. Danny Dickson will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home

Mr. Paul Raymond Barron, age 84, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at his home, surrounded by family. Paul was born in Monmouth, Illinois on June 25, 1941, a son of the late Kenneth Wayne and Bessie Edith (Cline) Barron. He married Patricia Ann Dennison on September 8, 1966, at the Cave City Church of Christ. Patricia preceded him in death on November 17, 1998. He retired from Eaton Axle in Glasgow after Patricia’s passing and was a lifelong to***co and cattle farmer. Paul enjoyed going to the stockyard and was a member of the Barren County Cattlemen’s Association and the Cave City Church of Christ.

He is survived by three children, Eric Barron and wife Shelly, Cameron Barron and wife Lisa, all of Cave City, and Sarah Harper and husband Jason of Glasgow, his special friend, Ms. Doris Smith of Cave City, five grandchildren; Briley and Braden Barron, Madison, Melanie, and Callie Harper. Two sisters, Eleanor Vance, and Judy Higginbotham of Horse Cave, and one brother, Danny Barron and wife Nina of Scottsville also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Dennison) Barron, his parents in law, Cortland and Margaret Dennison, one brother, Howard Barron, and one sister, Bonnie Smith.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in the Cave City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning after 8:00 until the service time at 10:00.
