While on a trip to the Appalachian Arts Center, one of our residents, David, spotted a pillow that looked awfully familiar. 💭

After taking a closer look, he discovered that it had been made by his late wife! 🥹

Wanting to make the moment even more special, our Resident Program Assistant, Hunter, surprised David by purchasing the pillow so he could keep it as a cherish memory.

David shared how grateful he is for the opportunity to have something that holds such meaningful memories.

Since then, the Arts Center has reached out to let us know they have additional pieces created by his wife, and we're planning a return trip to pick them up. 🔜 💙

These small moments have a big impact on our residents, and we're grateful to be part of them!

Our monthly was off to the races with a fun Kentucky Derby theme! 🏇🎩

Residents proudly showed off the beautiful sun hats they created earlier this month, adding the perfect touch to the celebration.

The evening was filled with laughter, smiles, and wonderful memories shared with friends and family. Our Dining Services team did an amazing job preparing a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed. 😋
