We are continuously star-struck by the generosity of our community. ✨

We hosted 2 donation based classes for the Trevor Project. Free to sign up - Lady Gaga music - red lights 🖤✨🌈

By the end of the day of Martin’s class, the 14th, there was already $460 in community member donations, totaling $610 in donation’s with New Dawn’s $150 joining in. Some of these donations were from community members who didn’t even attend the donation based class - just wanted to join in 🥹🫶

After Lady Gaga Hot Yoga Sculpt this past Tuesday we were at $1,107 in community member donations. Plus $300 from New Dawn, totaling $1407, for The Trevor Project. 🌈🫶

It gets better! The Saturday between these 2 classes, we hosted the Summer Solstice Celebration & have had our raffle ongoing supporting Cedar Valley Angels. We’re at $455! Thanks again to Palm Girl and Martin for helping raise funds for Cedar Valley Angels at our community event ✨🫶

We had a few people tell us they were wanting to still donate so we are leaving the jars out until Monday 6/29. We also have our raffle tickets on the counter for a 10 class pack as a little incentive to those of you who didn’t get a free class 💚 You can choose if your funds go to Cedar Valley Angels, The Trevor Project, or are split between them. We have information on each charity next to the jars 🫶

Thank you to Grow Room for providing these cute little plants for all of the participants.

We are so grateful to share our space with these incredible women. We shared laughter and tears, along with continuing our healing journeys alongside one another.

Tiff shared her story and how she's used social media to grow her business in a way that stays true to herself. She also did sound healing while Anna led a gentle yoga flow. Tiff will be hosting other events throughout the summer - feel free to follow her on instagram and join her next event!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our community celebration this Saturday! We had the best time with you all enjoying the sunshine ☀

Although it's the last time we will get to meet at this location, we are hoping to bring back our Summer Solstice Celebration next year in a new light ✨

A special thank you to Cat and Sydney for their help prepping the space, as well as Martin and Jess for their time volunteering. Together, so far, we've raised $226 for Cedar Valley Angels.

From The Trevor Project: "Every year, more than 1.8 million LGBTQ young people in the United States seriously consider su***de. Su***de is the second leading cause of death among young people, with le***an, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth more than four times more likely to attempt su***de than their peers. What’s more, as many as half of all transgender people have made a su***de attempt — many before the age of 25. In an increasingly connected and conflicted world, our culture propagates new mental health stressors every day for LGBTQ young people — a demographic that already faces disproportionate hardships.
BUT - there is hope. Having at least one accepting adult in an LGBTQ young person’s life can decrease their risk of attempting su***de by as much as 40%. The Trevor Project aims to provide that one accepting adult — whenever and wherever LGBTQ youth need them. Let’s work together to ensure every young person feels valued, loved, and respected for who they are."

How to sign up? The same way (and cost!) as any other class! Link below. If you get an error code from Glofox, please still come! We will help you get signed in there. This event is included in all unlimited memberships or you can apply a credit or drop in. ✨

Can't stay for the whole event? No worries! Come and go as you please. We will keep the celebration going until 4:30pm 🌞

What to bring:
✨ A yoga mat & either a pool or yoga towel (we'll have rentals if you forget yours!)
✨ Sunscreen & your water bottle
✨ Anything else to enjoy the property: swim suit, sun glasses, beverage(s)

We will provide coolers for your drinks & another cooler full of complimentary water bottles.

We will be ready to check you in any time after 11:15am at 1214 Lakeshore Drive in CF 💃

Come around to the garage for the side entrance to the backyard 🌸

At our sign in table, we will have New Dawn Apparel, mat & towel rentals and our raffle. All raffle ticket purchases will benefit Cedar Valley Angels, supporting our local foster care community 💚

✨ Astrology Readings with Astroboi (our incredible instructor, Martin!)
✨ Fingerprint Analysis with Palm Girl (our fabulous community member, Jess!)
✨ A 10 Class Pack to New Dawn Yoga

Whether you participate in the raffle/fundraiser or not, we would love for you to join us! New Dawn will not profit from our community gathering's drop in/credit purchases. If any funds are left after covering the costs of hosting, we will be donating those funds to Cedar Valley Angels 💚

We will begin around 11:45am with announcements, including our raffle winners and how to care for the property. It's currently staged like it's in Better Homes & Gardens, just about to go on the market 😅

Anna will be leading the yoga class at noon. The class style will be an easy going flow class as we bask in the beautiful summer sun. As always, never feel pressured to follow any movement that's not right for you. Right around 45 minutes...remember your sunscreen! ☀️

After class, you have freedom to enjoy the property and our community ✨

After class, Martin will be leading an intention setting fire ceremony for the summer ahead. Pearl Tea will be there providing tasty teas. Our raffle winners will have time slots for their sessions. Or just head right to the pool, pickle ball court, the shaded area for watercolor painting, the yard for corn hole, or inside for snacks 😋

We are looking forward to sharing the day with you! It looks like we are going to have PERFECT weather for our community celebration 🌤
