The Senior Expo is a wonderful opportunity for vendors and community partners to come together in one location to provide education, resources, and meaningful connections to our senior community. We’re proud to be part of an event that brings so many local organizations together for such an important purpose!

Happy National Lasagna Day from Harmony Cedar Rapids! 🍝❤️

A huge thank you to our talented chef and our amazing Director of Nursing, Katie, for preparing a delicious homemade lasagna lunch for our team. With a little help from her sous chef—Administrator Justine—it was the perfect way to celebrate and show our appreciation for the incredible staff who make Harmony Cedar Rapids such a special place every day.

The reviews were in, and they were unanimous—staff were raving that it was some of the best lasagna they’ve ever had! Nothing brings people together quite like a homemade meal made with care.

Last week, our residents got all dolled up—hair styled, makeup done, and dressed in their Sunday best—for a special glamour photoshoot! 💄📸

There were so many smiles, laughs, and confidence shining through as everyone enjoyed a little extra pampering before stepping in front of the camera. Every resident deserves to feel beautiful, celebrated, and proud, and these glamour shots were the perfect way to capture their unique personalities and radiant smiles.

At Harmony Cedar Rapids, we celebrate every milestone—especially ones like this. 💙

Last week, our very own resident, Konnie, officially graduated from hospice services! While hospice is often associated with end-of-life care, that’s not always the case. Hospice is about providing comfort, dignity, symptom management, and support when it’s needed most. Sometimes, with the right care and support, residents improve to the point that hospice services are no longer needed—and that’s absolutely worth celebrating.

We are incredibly grateful for our valued partnership with Suncrest Hospice. Their compassionate team works alongside ours to ensure residents and families receive exceptional care every step of the way. Together, we focus on quality of life, comfort, and honoring each resident’s unique journey.

Congratulations, Konnie! We are so happy to celebrate this special milestone with you. ❤️
