From planting colorful flowers to adding their personal touch to our outdoor spaces, they’re helping create a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy throughout the season. 🌷🌿

There’s something special about watching a garden grow, especially when it’s planted with so much care and pride. We can’t wait to see these blooms flourish all summer long!

Every day, our nurses, CNAs, dietary staff, housekeeping, maintenance, activities team, and so many others show up with compassion, dedication, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of our residents. As the temperatures start warming up and summer gets closer ☀️🍓🍇, our staff at Harmony Cedar Rapids have been enjoying some cool treats along the way!

We celebrated National Strawberries & Cream Day with a sweet treat for our amazing team, and on another warm day, staff cooled off with National Grape Popsicle Day 🍦🧊

We wrapped up Nursing Care Week at Harmony Cedar Rapids with a garden party in our courtyard filled with games, refreshing lemonade, and delicious grilled food enjoyed by both staff and residents. 🌼☀️🍔🍋

A special thank you to Care Initiatives Hospice - Cedar Rapids for generously treating our staff and residents to lemonade during the celebration!

Planning and executing Nursing Care Week is a huge undertaking for leadership, but hearing staff say this was the best Nursing Care Week they’ve ever been a part of makes every moment worth it. We are so thankful for our incredible team and the joy shared throughout the week. 💛

Day 4 of Nursing Care Week at Harmony Cedar Rapids 🌸🐝

Thursday we celebrated by dressing up as garden bugs and beautiful flowers ready to pollinate our “Moments in Bloom” week! 🌼🦋🐞 The creativity from our staff and residents made the day extra fun and full of smiles.

Our residents also helped prepare the courtyard for our upcoming garden party.

Our kitchen team absolutely crushed it again with another day of amazing food for everyone to enjoy 🍽️💐 We are so thankful for the hard work they put in each day to make this week special.

A special thank you to our pharmacy partner, Medicap for the delicious cupcakes! 🧁💛 Your generosity helped make the celebration even sweeter.

Today, each department dressed in different colors of the rainbow to celebrate our “Pocket Full of Sunshine” theme! The building was full of bright colors, smiles, and sunshine as staff and residents came together for another fun-filled day of celebration. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
