This large canvas has re-created itself multiple times. It seems to be a fertile practice ground for me.

Fresh off the easel.

when I started painting these, I was stressed out because my cat has been sick. Taking some time to paint at the studio helped lesson my stress and uplift my mood.

Thankfully, my little furry friend is doing better and these beauties are now ready to go out into the world.

I have to say that there are many stages during painting where things are ugly and messy. And it’s at those times you wonder if beauty will find its way to the canvas today. Eventually, it does show up and many times surprises you.
