I couldn’t fully explain this journey through Peru 🇵🇪 if I tried.

Challenging, breathtaking, humbling, and deeply awakening. ✨

Today we explored Chavín de Huántar, an ancient ceremonial center dating back to around 900 BC. Standing among these incredible ruins and learning about the Chavín culture was truly surreal. 🏔️

But beyond the places we’ve seen, the greatest gift has been the 12 of us. ❤️

We came together as strangers and somehow became a little family—laughing, crying, supporting, encouraging, and sharing moments that we’ll carry long after we leave Peru.

I’m leaving with more than memories. ❤️🇵🇪

I was having this conversation with a friend recently…

She knows me more as an acquaintance than a close friend. We see each other occasionally, she might catch me teaching a class, and she sees bits and pieces of my life through social media.

And from the outside, it can probably look like I have it all together. 😁🤪

The truth? Life is really good… but it is far from perfect.

I DO a lot. I take chances. I try new things. I follow what feels meaningful to me. And along the way, I mess up, stumble, get disappointed, make mistakes, and sometimes have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

I just don’t post all of that.

I don’t put every struggle, setback, or piece of laundry out for everyone to see.

A lot of things have gone wrong as I’ve figured out how to create a life that feels fulfilling and happy. And honestly? Those things are essential.

They’ve taught me. They’ve strengthened me. They’ve redirected me. 💪

So please don’t let social media fool you into thinking someone else has it all figured out—or that you aren’t capable of creating the life you want.

You’re only seeing a small piece of the picture.

The beautiful life isn’t built because everything goes right.
It’s built because we keep going when it doesn’t. 🥰❤️
