Eileen Luther , Valerie Rank, Maggie Paulus , Nickole Becker and Shana Schloemer will be at Behavioral Health Clinic. All of the previously occupied Northshore Clinic locations are now being used by Behavioral Health Clinic for continuity of care.

Until 9/1, we will still have someone answering the phones and the [email protected] email. They can direct you to where your therapist is.

To the community I’ve cared for at Northshore Clinic for 29+ years, I thank you! To the remarkable staff and colleagues who’ve shared parts of their career with us, I feel privileged! To my NSCC family, many who stood with me during some of the most difficult personal and professional challenges faced, I am humbled! To Joy Myers who took a chance on me when I was only 28 years old, with just a handful of clients, and a vision of building a counseling practice that was holistic and empowering, I am ever so grateful! To my brave and courageous clients, I thank you for the opportunity to care for you and the trust you placed in me that allowed us to do some incredible work.

It has been a remarkable journey at NSCC, one I will forever be grateful for. We had a good run, did amazing work, and witnessed hundreds of people do incredibly painstaking healing to recover and reclaim lives full of meaning. I am very proud of us and I will miss you very much. I look forward to continued collaboration in our respective new adventures and I’ll be around to supervise cases where eating disorders/disordered eating are presenting. I’m excited about that with BHC!

For me, I will be continuing to provide consultation services, coaching, workshops, and group opportunities, as well as professional counseling as an independent practitioner with ALMA. They are in the process of credentialing me and providing support with their EMR and billing. I will remain at the same location (1615 Barton Avenue) until the new space is ready (projected to be Aug 17th). I will be moving my practice to a private office space at REGUS on North Main, second floor of the old BC Ziegler & Company building in the heart of beautiful downtown West Bend.  My business cell phone will be the number to call or text if you are interested in meeting with me. There won’t be an official announcement for a while, but at least this gives you a better idea of where I’m at in the meanwhile and how to get a hold of me if you need. My new contact information is as follows:

Northshore Clinic and Consultants will be closing as of 7/31. All of our clinicians have accepted positions or found a place to see their clients. The crushing pressure of the insurance companies that devastated our clinic is the reason we need to close. The one my mom built over 35 years. I still don't have all of my thoughts together on this. This is Shana (co owner writing).

The clinicians who have gone with Behavioral Health Clinic will still be at 1615 Barton Ave in West Bend. It will just have a different sign outside soon. (West Allis, Cedarburg, and Third Ward spaces will now be occupied by Behavioral Health Clinic for continuity of care as well).

The clinics we are going to accepts almost all insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. We will have the Northshore website updated soon with that information of where to find your therapist if you haven't already spoken to them or if it's been a while since you have been in. You will still be able to call our main office until at least 9/1 so we can help make sure everyone gets transitioned and set up at their new clinics. 262 375 1116 is still the main office number.

There may be some delay in making appointments at your therapist's new clinic as everyone gets credentialed and settled. You can speak to your therapist about this individually. We wish there had been more time for a smoother transition. We thought we could still turn things around. Until we just couldn't. Most clients already know this information. If you are just finding out, again, I wish we had more time.

The main priority this month was making sure each clinician had found a place to take their clients. We value the trust given to this clinic for 35 yrs, so we want to make this as smooth as possible for our clients/patients. ALL therapists have landed locally and may now even be at a location that accepts more insurance than we were able to the past 2 yrs.
