The authors reported a series of cases and basically left the take-home message that focal salvage after radiation is the way to go. But their data dont support such statement. Another important collaborative contribution from our group.

This international multicenter analysis from the CAMUS Collaborative evaluated more than 130,000 major urologic oncologic procedures across 180 centers in 33 countries, providing the largest standardized assessment of perioperative complications in urologic oncology to date.

The study establishes contemporary benchmarks for radical prostatectomy, cystectomy, nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, while highlighting the importance of standardized complication reporting and international quality improvement initiatives.

Large-scale collaborations like this are essential to improve patient counseling, benchmark outcomes, identify opportunities for quality improvement, and ultimately enhance surgical care worldwide.
