There’s a LOT that goes into keeping a pediatric schedule moving. 😎

Sick kiddos, unexpected concerns, complex visits, extra questions…sometimes a visit simply needs more time. 🧡🤍

But we work hard behind the scenes to build a schedule that gives each child the attention they need while respecting the next family’s time, too. ⏰

Because we know waiting with a tired baby, busy toddler, or teenager who has better plans isn’t easy. 😂

We can’t promise there will never be a wait, but we can promise we’re always trying. We can also promise that Dr. Bridgewater will always share her “sick” moves. 🫶

And when the whole day runs smoothly? WE DANCE. 💃

We had SO much fun at Meet the Bobcats on Saturday! We’re so proud to be part of the Celina community and love supporting our kids both in the office and out in the community!🧡🤍

What a fun way to kick off the new school year! We loved getting out in the community, seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and cheering on our Celina Bobcats!🎉

And of course… we couldn’t leave without getting a picture of Dr. Piehl and Dr. Tran with Bennie! 📸

🚨“We don’t need a checkup… nothing is wrong!”
is something we hear ALL the time. And honestly, we love when kids are healthy! But annual well visits aren’t just for when something is wrong - they’re about making sure everything is right! 👍🏼

🩺 At every checkup, we monitor growth, development, vision, hearing, blood pressure, mental health, and more. We often catch things parents couldn’t be expected to notice because they develop gradually or don’t have obvious symptoms. Think of us as your child’s fresh set of trained eyes. It takes a team. 👀

⭐️ A yearly physical is one of the best ways to keep healthy kids healthy and it's one of our favorite ways to connect with our patients. What is your kiddos favorite part of a visit to see us? 🧡🤍

Between annual physicals, sports forms, allergy plans, vaccines, and vaccine records… we’re staying busy helping your kiddos get ready for a healthy school year. 🩺

Friendly reminder: Most schools start in about 1 week - now is the time to check your child’s back-to-school requirements and make sure everything is ready! 📅🎒

We may be tired by the end of the day, but we truly love what we do and are so grateful to be part of your family’s story. 🧡🤍

Cheers to us on a job well done! During the month of March, our office competed with other Cook Children’s primary care offices to see who could most faithfully implement up-to-date wellness screening and antibiotic stewardship guidelines for pediatric primary care. Happy to say we are the Grand Champions!

It can be easy for established practices to become set in their ways, and for busy physicians to lose sight of the most current recommendations in pediatric medicine. But we at Cook Children’s Celina are committed to being old dogs who can learn new tricks. 😎 We are up-to-date when it comes to screening for adolescent depression, adjusting antibiotic courses appropriately for age, and screening for maternal postpartum depression in the newborn period, amongst other things. We are committed to continuing to practice evidence-based medicine and implementing early detection screenings to keep our patients well.

Huge thanks to Dr. Piehl, who spearheaded our efforts, and to all the clinical staff who took care of every detail to make sure nothing was missed at each visit.

We know entrusting your child’s care to us is our privilege, and we take the responsibility very seriously. We are so proud of our team and our commitment to quality and excellence in patient care!
