WOW. It was a big week last week for some of our Performance Project athletes! 🔥

Marathons, half marathons, triathlons, 50Ks… our crew was out there doing some pretty incredible things.

We know how much work goes into getting ready for these events, and we’re proud to be a small part of the process.

Helping people stay healthy, train hard, and keep doing the things they love is why we do what we do.

Huge congratulations to everyone who got out there and put their training to the test! 👏

UPDATE!!!!

✨ Help us give a warm welcome to the newest member of The Performance Project team!

We’re excited to introduce Cody Anschutz, our newest Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Not only is Dr. Cody passionate about helping active people recover, perform, and stay healthy, but he also lives the lifestyle we love to serve. He has a special interest in working with athletes, is an avid trail runner, and has already conquered 48 of Colorado’s 53 fourteeners (with the remaining five firmly in his sights!).

As we continue to grow, adding another Performance PT means we can help even more people get back to doing what they love, all while continuing to provide the one on one care and individualized treatment that sets us apart.

Whether you’re training for your next race, preparing for your next adventure in the mountains, chasing a PR, or simply looking to move without pain, Dr. Cody is ready to help.

Drop a 👋 in the comments and help us welcome Dr. Cody to The Performance Project family!

One of the things we love most at The Performance Project is learning, teaching, and growing together as a team.

We’re constantly refining our craft so every patient who walks through our doors gets the highest level of care possible.

Cervical manipulation — a gentle, precise neck adjustment — is one of those skills that requires a trained eye, steady hands, and a deep understanding of anatomy and movement.

When performed by a skilled physical therapist, it’s safe, quick, and incredibly effective at restoring motion, reducing pain, and calming down tight muscles.

We use it as just one piece of the puzzle — combined with corrective exercise, strength work, and hands-on soft tissue treatment — to help people overcome:
👉 Neck pain
👉 Headaches
👉 Shoulder and upper back tightness
👉 Stiffness from long hours at a desk or in the car

That satisfying “release” you feel is just the start — the real benefit comes from what follows: better movement, better strength, and long-term results.

If you’ve been living with neck or upper back tension, you don’t have to just put up with it. There’s a smarter, evidence-based way forward.

Let’s get you moving better again.

👉 Shoulder Internal Rotation.

If your shoulder can’t rotate properly, you’re fighting against your own mechanics every time you press, throw, or even reach overhead.

Here are 2 of my go-to shoulder internal rotation exercises I use daily with patients at The Performance Project Physical Therapy in Centennial, CO ⬇️

1️⃣ Shoulder Internal Rotation – builds base strength and mobility
2️⃣ Shoulder IR at 90° – improves control in your throwing or pressing position

💡 These drills improve shoulder mobility, reduce pain, and help prevent impingement — so you can move, lift, and perform at your best.

Do these 2–3x per week before your upper body workouts or as part of your warm-up routine.

✨Staying Healthy & Grounded Through the Holidays✨

The holidays are beautiful — but they can also be… a lot.
Full schedules. Emotional energy. Routines that fall off track.

This season, Embody invites you to slow down and reconnect with what matters most — your mind, body, and soul. 🤍

Ask yourself:
🍃 How do I want to feel this holiday season?
🍃 What would it look like to care for myself with intention?

Our upcoming workshop will guide you through simple ways to stay balanced, nourished, and grounded — no matter how busy life gets.
