Coloradans are already facing rising health care costs—now individual premiums on the ACA marketplace are projected to increase by an average of 11% in 2027. Cuts to federal premium tax credits and looming Medicaid reductions threaten to push even more patients into coverage gaps and delay needed care.

CSA strongly opposes cuts to Medicaid and remains committed to protecting access to high-quality, affordable health care for all Coloradans. Stable coverage is essential to safe perioperative care, from preventive services to surgery and recovery.
