In honor of Occupational Therapy Month please help us welcome our newest occupational therapist, Emily Ellis, to the JTA family!!! 💥🎉 Emily currently has availability in our Centennial office - contact the office or send us a DM to learn more!

Emily earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Saint Louis University in 2023 and has been practicing in outpatient pediatrics and home health settings since graduation. She is passionate about supporting children and their families through individualized, evidence-based care that empowers each child to thrive.

Her clinical experience includes fine motor development, self-regulation, sensory integration, and activities of daily living (ADLs). Emily strives to create engaging, strengths-based interventions that build confidence and promote meaningful progress in everyday routines.

Emily has pursued continuing education in sensory integration, primitive reflex integration, ADHD, and sexuality to further support the diverse needs of the children and families she serves. She values collaboration with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to help each child reach their full potential. She finds great joy in watching children gain new skills, grow in independence, and celebrate their successes.

Do you enjoy good music? Want to hear up-to-date information about brain regeneration? This Thursday, March 26th, the Dan Lewis Foundation will co-host a musical event with Dr. Jonathan LaPook, Chief Medical Correspondent for CBS News and Dr. David Margulies, biomedical and biotechnology writer and innovator and co-founder of the Dan Lewis Foundation. The musical performers will be Low Strung, a tremendous group of cellists who arrange and perform classic rock on their acoustic cellos and the Yale Symphony Orchestra playing two pieces from their 2025 season repertoire.
