Yesterday we had a celebration, The Birthday Bash, which honored our nation's 250th, Colorado's 150th and Centennial's 25th Birthdays. A fun time was had by all! Bianca and The Fly Boys entertained us with a delightful selection of songs. We learned some interesting facts about our city, state, and country too with a trivia game.

***Celebrating 150 Years of Colorado Through the People Who Helped Shape It***

As Colorado celebrates its 150th anniversary on August 1, we’re proud to debut Our People | Our Legacy—a collection of remarkable stories from people across Christian Living Communities, including several from Someren Glen, whose lives, leadership, and service have made a lasting impact on Colorado and beyond.

At Someren Glen, we know that history isn’t only found it books, it’s found within our walls by neighbors who lived it.

Created as part of the USA 250 | CO 150 celebration, Our People | Our Legacy honors the contributions of those who came before us while inspiring all of us to consider the legacy we continue to build.

Celebrate Colorado’s 150th by discovering their stories on our website: https://christianlivingcommunities.org/who-we-are/our-people-our-legacy/.

Understanding what skilled nursing is, when it may be needed, and what life looks like in that setting helps remove uncertainty and empowers you to make confident, informed decisions about your future. Learn more at https://somerenglen.org/blog/planning-ahead-what-to-expect-when-transitioning-to-a-skilled-nursing-community/.

Transitioning to skilled nursing may not be something you need today—but understanding how it works can make all the difference in how you plan for the future.
