🌟 Provider Spotlight: Kari Massey (Thompson), APRN, FNP-C 🌟

Kari is the second of four children — and the only girl! She was born and raised in Lufkin and attended Hudson schools from elementary through high school.

Her healthcare journey began at Angelina College, where she earned her CNA, phlebotomy, LVN, and RN degree. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed her Masters Degree/FNP at UT Tyler. 👩🏻‍🎓

Kari currently lives in Nacogdoches with her family, 3 goats, 2 pigs, 1 dog, and 1 cat! She is also a proud mom to twin 6-year-olds, Cohen💙 and Pepper🩷, and is getting remarried later this summer to Rickie Thompson.🤍 (name change coming soon!)

When she’s not caring for patients, Kari loves cooking for family and large crowds as a way of showing love to others. Desserts are her specialty, but gumbo is her favorite thing to make! 🍲✨

We’re excited to announce that HOPE Community Medicine is expanding with a brand-new location at the historic Panola Watchman building! This space will be undergoing a complete transformation into a modern healthcare facility that will provide medical care, behavioral health services, and a pharmacy—all under one roof to better serve our community. 💙
