This is Huntington Speech and Feeding’s 15th year of operation and Miss Lori’s 28th year in practice!

Speech language pathologist are trained specifically in spoken language, which is the foundation for literacy. Reading and writing are indeed extensions of the same language system.

But an SLP who has deliberately developed expertise in evidence-based reading instruction brings something quite distinctive: knowledge of speech sounds, oral language, written language and clinical assessment.
