Friday ended on a high note! Thank you so much to Cheryl Stevens, Joyce Buseman, Pastor Elan and Jordan Peterson for driving the residents around town in their golf carts! Everyone had a great time!!! At the same time residents made homemade ice cream for coffee time and happy hour. To end the day, they threw darts.

We had a karaoke/ sing along party today. A lot of great singers!!! After coffee Jo came to play left, right, center.

What a Wednesday!!! Thank you to Scandia for the wonderful potluck! Full of yummy desserts and pies! After our potluck we headed outside to hear Big Scott Allen and then Janet Reis. For coffee we served ice cream cones and then painted nails.

Melanie Richards was our guest bingo caller today. Thank you Melanie! Ladies from Brooklyn Church brought everyone angel food cake and served us coffee along with some special music. Thank you so very much for doing this for the residents and staff today. We then threw the bean bags around before supper.

We had a fun Friday!!! Deb’s daycare kids came over this morning to play balloon toss with us. Today was their last time of the year. It was fun! We then loaded up the trailer to ride to Steve and Rita Welsh’s farm. They served us root beer floats! Thank you so much for the hospitality!!!! We then had happy hour Friday and ended with Bible Study with Joyce.

Busy Wednesday today!! For baking hour, we made Carmel apple pretzel bites and shucked corn. After coffee we played frisbee golf on the patio. For supper club, Kristen helped make an awesome seafood boil and bread pudding. We then had a bon fire with s’mores. To end the day, we heard the beautiful music by the Living Word Mennonite Church in the patio.
