🎀PINK OUT DAY- Breast Cancer Awareness 🎀

At Pear Valley Senior Living our staff and residents came together for Pink out Day for Breast Cancer. We all showed up to support those that have fought and are currently fighting breast cancer. Our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents both made delicious cookies, decorated them and shared them with the staff and family members. We talked, laughed and had great conversation.

Our Memory Care residents worked hard on their breast cancer flower ribbons to show their support. They spent the whole morning working so hard making some beautiful creations.

Pear Valley Senior Living took our residents to Senior Day at Pheasant Farms! 🎃🚜🌽
It was a relaxing experience with plenty of shade from the heat! We were treated to a hay ride, cookies, c***r and pumpkin pie. We saw a walnut tree on the farm that was 135 years old! They also have barn that was built over a hundred years ago and is still standing to this day! Each of our residents got to take home their very own pumpkin - courtesy of Pheasant Farms. A truly wonderful experience that we are so grateful for.

Our weekly drumming exercise class puts arm movement to music, helping residents build upper-body strength, practice coordination, and keep shoulders and arms moving—all while having fun together! 💚

Today we celebrated National Taco Day 🌮 at
El Tapatio in Medford,OR.

Our assisted living & memory care residents enjoyed fresh table side guacamole with some tasteful Mexican Cuisine. We laughed and we spoke of memories made from prior vacations to Mexico. Conversation was lively along with hearts and bellies being more than full!

As Life Enrichment Directors at Pear Valley we take great pride in having the opportunity to take our residents out to local restaurants down in the Valley. Today was a wonderful experience that we will cherish deeply.

Pear Valley Senior Living took a trip out to see the Alpacas at Lone Ranch in White City, OR. Our residents got to hear history regarding Alpacas and where they originated from.
Quick trivia! Did camels originate from China, The Middle East or the US of A? If you go to the Four Corners in the USA you will find archeological evidence of camels originating in the United States.
Alpaca Lone Ranch started their journey going to the coast and purchasing 6 alpacas. Today they have 25 Alpacas consisting of 8 males and 17 females.
Our residents shared laughter, fun, and special memories together.

Pear Valley Senior Living was proud to welcome some of our local heroes to our community for breakfast! We are so grateful for the dedication, courage, and hard work they give each day to help keep our community safe and sound. It was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to say thank you and show our appreciation to those who serve and protect us. 🇺🇸❤️
