Meet the staff! A series where you will get to know a little bit about our kooky but loveable bunch of professional weirdos!

Happy Monday to all of you! Today we continue our series, starting with our beloved Speechies!

Hi, I’m Sawyer Patton, a licensed speech-language pathologist at Cornerstone! I’m passionate about helping kids of all ages build their communication skills and feel confident being themselves. Through play-based articulation therapy, neurodiversity-affirming language support, and child-led strategies, I strive to make every session fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique needs. I love getting to know each child and their family, working together to find meaningful ways to support communication in everyday life. My goal is to help you feel confident supporting your child’s growth and celebrate all their progress along the way, whether we’re at the clinic, out in the community, or at home! My favorite thing about working at Cornerstone is getting to be a part of the unique and friendly culture that has been created here.

Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, spending time with my dogs and fiancee, taking in Washington’s beautiful views, or exploring new shops around town. I’m always up for discovering something new.

Next we have the other half of the face of Cornerstone. She is the calm in the calamity of the rest of us, and we love her for it!

Hi! My name is Megan and you'll find me at the front desk answering phones, helping to schedule appointments, taking care of referrals and paperwork, and anything else someone might need help with. I started working a few days a week at Cornerstone in 2024 and love getting to meet and visit with all the families! My time outside of Cornerstone is spent taking care of my daughter Emerson and getting her to all of the places, as well as spending time with my husband Nathan. I've recently got back into a few old hobbies- working out and reading, and I love drinking coffee and spending time down at the Oregon Coast! I'm thankful to get to meet so many cool kiddos and their parents, and work alongside such funny and caring humans 💕

Next we have 1/2 of the face of Cornerstone. She is often the first face you see when you enter the building, she keeps our schedules orderly, and keeps us on track (often the hardest part of the job I'm sure). She holds conversations, passes out treats and is a friend to all clients!

Hi! I'm Alyssa! I am the Front desk/Reception. I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays. When I’m not at Cornerstone I am studying, I attend SPSCC full time online and in my free time I enjoy traveling and going on road trips. I also loves reading and doing crafts.

My favorite thing about working at Cornerstone is getting to interact with the kiddos at the front desk and enjoying the free entertainment my coworkers provide! ❤️

Next we have the backbone of Cornerstone, she keeps our clinic running and we really could not be us without her! She makes us all feel like family and never has a negative word to say about anyone.

Hi! I am Beth. I am the Billing/Admin Assistant. I moved down from Pierce County in 2023 with my wife, and live with my cat Rooney and dog Tonka. When I am not at work I like to craft, read, and play video games. My favorite thing about Cornerstone is that we get to be silly every day!

Next up, our fearless leader!

Hi, I’m Sarah Robbins, owner of Cornerstone and a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist! I’m passionate about helping children of all ages find their voice, build confidence, and discover just how fun communication can be.
When I’m not working with kiddos, you can usually find me with a coffee in hand, shopping, riding quads, or spending time with my husband and children. And if you know me, you know I’m a BIG fan of all things fall and Halloween! Give me cozy fall vibes, pumpkin everything, spooky season, and all the Halloween fun, and I’m one happy girl. 🎃🍂
I believe the best things in life are built on connection, a little bit of adventure, and plenty of fun—and I bring that same spirit into my work at Cornerstone!

First up, and most importantly EVERYONE'S favorite!

Hi!!! I'm Ranger Gus, the clinic mascot and four-legged chaos coordinator. I love to visit the clinic where I am able to get all the love and attention, particularly when causing absolute mayhem when I get excited. My favorite parts of Cornerstone are eating Ms. Hannah's lunch off her desk, chewing up Ms. Beth's boxes, and trying to eat Mom's (Ms. Sarah's) socks. Like many of our clients here, I struggle with impulse control and am always looking for a big bear hug.
