💗 Earlier this year, a special moment unfolded during Paint the Park Pink in Medford, Oregon.

Breast cancer survivor Juli Weiss surprised the crowd — and her son, Medford Rogues General Manager Jeff Weiss — by taking the field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. ⚾

Juli had been selected for the honor but kept it a secret until the moment she stepped onto the field.

“The family part of going through cancer is so important,” Juli said. “They were there for me every step of the way.”

For Juli, the moment was a celebration of family, survivorship and the importance of regular breast cancer screenings.
