A day of artistry, precision, and hands-on learning at WADE! 🎨🦷

This past Saturday, Master Ceramist Todd Fong, CDT, led our course, “Chairside Zirconia Esthetics Made Simple: Mastering Aidite 3D Pro Zir & Biomic Stain/Glaze.”

The program focused on practical chairside techniques for improving the esthetics of zirconia restorations. Participants learned how to adjust shade, value, chroma, and characterization to create more natural-looking results—without automatically sending a restoration back to the laboratory for minor esthetic corrections.

During the hands-on portion, attendees worked with Aidite Biomic Stain/Glaze systems and the Aidite porcelain furnace, applying repeatable techniques designed to improve anterior esthetics, reduce chairside adjustments and remakes, and increase confidence in restoration finishing. 🙌✨

👏 We sincerely thank Todd Fong for sharing more than 40 years of restorative and laboratory expertise with our participants. His practical instruction, live demonstrations, and attention to detail made this an engaging and valuable learning experience.

This Sunday’s program, “CBCT & Guided Implant Surgery: From Imaging to Clinical Execution,” led by Dr. Varo Boyer, gave participating doctors a practical look at how CBCT technology can be integrated into predictable, prosthetically driven implant treatment.

The course moved beyond imaging alone and explored the complete clinical workflow—from scan acquisition and anatomical interpretation to virtual implant planning, surgical guide utilization, and guided implant placement. 💻🦷

During the hands-on portion, participants applied these concepts using surgical guides and typodont models, helping connect digital planning with real-world clinical ex*****on. 🙌

"Unboxing the Ceramix-Nano Shining 3D's Chairside Ceramic Crown Printer"

We unboxed Shining 3D's new Ceramix-Nano a chairside 3D printer that prints and cures ceramic crowns in one compact unit. In this video, we go through the whole process for the first time: what's in the box, loading a print, watching it run, and the first steps of post-processing.

The Ceramix-Nano uses sealed capsules loaded with LumiCera, a ceramic-filled resin, combined with Shining 3D's cloud-based AI design platform the goal is a scan-to-delivery workflow that can be done chairside in around 30 minutes.
