We had a great time making our presence known at the 16th Annual Upper Uwchlan Block Party! ☀️🎯

From sharing information about our practice and offering coping tools to enjoying some friendly competition with lawn games, it was a wonderful day of connection, conversation, and community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello! We loved meeting local families, connecting with fellow businesses, and catching up with both current and future clients. We’re grateful to be part of such a vibrant Chester Springs community. 💙

A little sunshine and a lot of teamwork ☀️
Behind every appointment, meeting, and report is a team that works hard—and occasionally takes a Friday afternoon to enjoy the weather together. Wishing everyone a sunny weekend!! 😎

Some offices have trust falls. We have air traffic control issues ✈️

And the sports psychologist for the win!!! I think the rest of us will stick to therapy and psych/neuropsych testing…

What happens when schools and private clinicians truly collaborate?
Children receive more cohesive, informed, and effective support.

Part 3 of our series highlights how care coordination between educators, therapists, psychologists, and families can:
✔️ Align goals across settings
✔️ Reduce conflicting strategies
✔️ Improve consistency and follow-through
✔️ Strengthen support for the whole child

When communication improves, outcomes improve.

📌 Save this post and share it with a parent, educator, or clinician who values collaborative care.

When it comes to understanding your child’s needs, the words we use matter—and they do not always mean what we think.

In Part 2 of our three-part series, Integrating Clinical and Classroom Data to Build a Seamless Support System, Dr. Brittnie Blanchard breaks down a common (and frustrating) source of confusion for families:
👉 The difference between a diagnosis and an educational classification

While terms like Autism, Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning Disability may appear in both settings, they are not interchangeable.
✔️ Schools determine eligibility based on educational impact (IDEA criteria)
✔️ Clinicians diagnose based on broader developmental and functional criteria (DSM-5)

Understanding this distinction is key to effective advocacy—because support in school and understanding your child as a whole person require both perspectives.

A diagnosis does not automatically qualify a child for special education.
An educational classification does not replace a diagnosis.

Knowing the difference helps ensure your child receives the right supports—in and out of the classroom.
