Most parents celebrate when their child is potty trained… but that’s often only half the journey.

Using the toilet independently and getting completely clean are two very different skills.

The truth is, many kids struggle with wiping long after they’ve mastered potty training. Short arms, limited coordination, and not being able to see what they’re doing can make proper wiping incredibly difficult.

That’s why so many parents find themselves stuck in the bathroom helping long after they expected to be done.

Did you know mirrors are powerful visual learning tools for children?

When we added a mirror to the bathroom, we discovered something surprising: it transformed the entire environment. What was once just a bathroom became a place for learning, curiosity, and growing independence.

Children learn best when they can see, understand, and participate in what they’re doing. A toilet mirror gives them visual feedback, helping them build confidence and master bathroom routines on their own.

The goal isn’t just potty training, it’s teaching lifelong independence.

Being potty trained is great, but helping a child become bathroom independent is even better. ❤️

The best part? I didn’t ask her to do this. I was filming content when she asked to wear the microphone and share her thoughts. Everything she said was completely her own. 😂

Building a business while working full time and raising your family isn’t always easy, but moments like these make it all worth it. 🫶🏻
