💚 Healthy Bodies is coming to St. Bernard Parish—and participation is FREE!

The Nunez Community College Health Center and CrescentCare are partnering to offer Healthy Bodies, an evidence-based program that provides honest, age-appropriate education about our bodies, relationships, healthy decision-making, and overall wellness.

Choose the session that’s right for you or your family:

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Educational Zoom (pre session informational Zoom)
Monday, September 14 | 6:00–6:30 p.m.

🧑 Ages 13–18
Tuesday, September 15 | 6:00–7:30 p.m.

🎓 Ages 18 and older
Wednesday, September 16 | 6:00–7:30 p.m.

📍 In-person sessions will be held at:
Nunez Community College
Student Testing & Career Counseling Center
Room 131—Tiered Classroom

🎉 Congratulations to Our Methodist HealthSystem Foundation Scholarship Recipient! 🎉

MHSF Health Centers is proud to congratulate Jennifer Lopez-Hernandez, a third-semester Practical Nursing student at Nunez Community College, on being selected to receive the Methodist Health System Foundation Scholarship!

Jennifer is passionate about nursing and is working toward her goal of becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. We are honored to support her education goals so she can remain focused on her classes, clinical training, and future career.

Today we had a very special visitor at MHSF Health Centers.

Our original Medical Director and one of the founding forces behind our School Based Health Center work - Dr. Joseph Labat stopped by for a visit. His vision and leadership helped establish the foundation for the care, support, and services we continue to provide to students today.

It was wonderful to reconnect and reflect on how far our Health Centers have come—and even more meaningful to remember the people whose commitment helped make this work possible.

We are grateful for his lasting impact on MHSF Health Centers and on the students and families we have been privileged to serve through the years. ❤️
