🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we just have to celebrate our very own Magnolia’s Mascot, Casey, along with all of our frequent four-legged visitors who bring so much joy, personality, and tail-wagging fun to our days! ❤️🐶

Thank you, Casey, Stella, Fiona, Gus, Fishy, Mindy, and Murphy, for making Magnolia's a little happier every time you come to visit. We’re pretty sure you all think this is your house too—and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐾🥰

As all the kiddos head back to school, we wanted to enlist the help of some amazing teachers and coaches in our community to share their best back-to-school advice! 🎒📚✏️

Last week, we were thrilled to host a local networking group at our community for an important conversation focused on care coordination and education for those serving our older adult population.

And, as always, our incredible Dining Experience team delivered! They brought the BBQ & Business theme to life with a delicious spread and a welcoming atmosphere that made connecting and collaborating even better. 🔥🍽️

We’re grateful for the local professionals who joined us and for the opportunity to strengthen connections that help better serve older adults in our community.

We recently celebrated the graduates of our MAP program, designed to help develop knowledge, strengthen leadership, and grow each participant’s impact and role within our community.

Congratulations to Anita Shover, who completed the entire program and graduated at the Gold Level! Anita has proudly served our community for 13 years, and we are incredibly grateful for her continued dedication and leadership.

We also celebrate Catherine Neil, who graduated at the Silver Level after three years of service to our community. We are so grateful for Catherine’s commitment and the positive impact she continues to make.

Please join us in congratulating Anita and Catherine on this wonderful achievement! We are incredibly proud of their success and thankful for all they do for our community. 🎓👏

Today, we celebrate the remarkable seniors who bring wisdom, kindness, laughter, and countless stories to our community. Every day, we’re honored to walk alongside our residents and celebrate the lives, experiences, and memories that make each person so special.

The weather today was perfect for a Farm to Table Market Day Social.
Our residents and family members enjoyed an afternoon of fresh local produce as well as homemade baked goods, chicken corn soup,fried vegetables and much more! Shout out to everyone who donated to this wonderful event ! Special thanks to Amy, Kris and Becky for their extra touches!🧺🍉🥒

Our residents asked for Barbecued Ribs at our last resident council meeting and our Cuisiner Team delivered today at our monthly themed Luncheon. Everyone agreed that the Barbecued Ribs were spectacular !🍖🍖🍖

One of our group topics this week was canning. Our residents were sharing gardening and canning tips with one another and how much they enjoyed canning. Our wonderful EOO Kris, heard about this and soon canning was underway! She gathered cucumbers from her home garden and took the residents down memory lane . Step by step everyone helped in the making of Bread and Butter Pickles! The pickles turned out fabulous! Stay tuned for more Canning with Kris this bountiful season!🫙🥒🥒🥒

Today is National Honey Bee Day and our Life Stories residents always love a reason to celebrate! We invited Two Mountains Over to play some music and the party started!
We enjoyed some snacks,taste tested some local honey and played Bee Trivia.
Did you know that Bees have five eyes and two stomachs?🐝🐝🍯

Our themed LasVegas Happy Hour did not disappoint today! Our residents enjoyed music by Bryan Herber on piano for some great sing along songs. We also enjoyed great refreshments and a fun time taking selfies !
