An anxious mind often treats uncertainty like a problem that needs to be solved.

The more uncertain something feels, the more your mind may search for answers, reassurance, or certainty.

But not knowing is not the same as being unsafe.

Try asking:
"Can I allow this question to exist without answering it right now?"

Peace is not always found in having the answer. Sometimes it is found in tolerating the uncertainty 🌿

June is PTSD Awareness Month, a time to increase understanding and reduce the stigma surrounding trauma and its lasting effects. 🧠

PTSD can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, and its impact often extends far beyond the event itself. It can affect how a person feels, thinks, relates to others, and moves through daily life.

Many people associate PTSD with military service, but PTSD can affect anyone who has experienced trauma, including abuse, neglect, accidents, medical trauma, loss, violence, or other overwhelming life experiences.

🌿 Symptoms can include anxiety, hypervigilance, sleep difficulties, emotional numbness, or feeling constantly on edge
🌿 Healing is possible with the right support and interventions
