How many of us took a Human S*xuality Course in graduate school? Not too many I bet. Yet we are expected to treat the whole person. How do we do this when so many of us are unprepared or uncomfortable talking about s*x? “Let’s Talk About S*x: An Intro to S*x Positive Counseling” is now accessible on your own time and invites you to reflect on your own beliefs about s*xuality, gain comfort discussing s*xual health with clients, and understand when a referral to a Certified S*x Educator, Counselor, or Therapist may be beneficial.

Attendees will be introduced to methods of self-examination and how their world view about s*x shows up in their work. Attendees will learn what it means to be a s*x positive therapist and determine how they may want to expand their professional identity when it comes to the topic of s*x within their practice. Attendees will be provided a s*xual health assessment and key indicators to help determine when a referral to a Certified S*x Educator, Counselor, or Therapist would be appropriate.

Befriend your body at any size is a supportive, affirming coaching group designed for plus-size folx who are ready to build a kinder, more respectful relationship with their body, without shrinking, fixing, or “earning” worth.

In this group, we will gently but intentionally unlearn diet culture and diet industry myths, unpack internalized fatphobia, and explore how systems of oppression (including racism, ableism, heternormativity, and sizeism) shape our body image experiences. We honor that body image is not one-size-fits-all, and that your relationship with your body is deeply personal, political, and shaped by your lived identity.
