Our mission at BodyWork Associates is to bring effective and efficient relief to people with muscular discomfort and pain. Our interest is in therapy that is science based and grounded in physiological principles. We do not consider what we do "alternative" health care; we are very much in the "complementary" model. You won't see us making claims that aren't backed up by research or solid physiolo

gical footing. Most importantly, our interest is in areas of soft-tissue pain that the more traditional environments do not serve well. We serve people who have problems that often fall through the cracks of health care. As a result, we often work with physical therapy to enhance the effectiveness of their exercises after insurance no longer covers more visits. Primary care physicians often send us people who need careful soft-tissue care for chronic conditions. We appreciate and respect the confidence other health care providers place in us; we strive to earn that every day. Many people who come through our doors have been frustrated by a lack of success with other therapies. The targeted soft tissue therapy we do, called Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, is unlike anything else they have tried. Visits for general massage, chiropractic, and physical therapy do not mean that targeted soft tissue therapy has been addressed. The specificity of what we do is quite different. Many people also come to our office to combat the effects of stress and fatigue. In this case, the work we do is slightly different, but with the same care and attention to detail. Our job is to help you feel your very best so you can be your very best.

Becoming certified is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to Ashley’s dedication and hard work. From attending multiple seminars and testing out of each program, to completing case studies and fulfilling research and education requirements, this certification is an honor that is not taken lightly.

To our amazing Bodywork Associates clients—thank you.

Your trust, referrals, and continued support have allowed us to grow into something we're incredibly proud of.

As we've grown, we've also recognized another need in our community. There are so many people living with pain who either can't get in soon enough or don't know where to turn.

That's one of the reasons The Nelson Center became part of the Bodywork Associates family.

Our vision wasn't simply to grow—it was to expand access to care.
The Nelson Center was designed for people looking for a focused, collaborative approach to pain and movement issues, while helping keep wait times as short as possible.
