It was very interesting presentation by Ken Sorenson about songs that have had a lasting impact on America, including “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “My Country, ’Tis of Thee,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “Taps,” “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning),” and “God Bless America.” He shared the stories behind each song, including who wrote them and the historical events and circumstances that were happening in America when they were written. It was interesting to learn how these songs reflected the emotions, struggles, patriotism, and experiences of the American people during important moments in our history. 🇺🇸

The Longevity Club rose to the challenge with enthusiasm- stepping outside their comfort zones and diving into a fun, creative experience together. Full of energy, connection, and laughter, each painting became a true reflection of our resident’s unique style and personality.
