Tyler's Place AZ Tyler’s Place is a social center for individuals with developmental disabilities in Chandler serving the East Valley.

We have a day program for adults and an after school program for teenagers. DDD funded but private pay is also available. Home & Community Based Services
Our agency is a qualified vendor for habilitation, respite and attendant care. These services represent a comprehensive intervention with the goal being to support and maintain all family members in their own home. Let our well trained staff help

To provide individuals with developmental disabilities a welcoming place where they can improve the quality of their lives by interacting with peers, enjoying recreational activities and working on critical life skills so they may become the best versions of themselves. Our Inspiration
We founded Tyler’s Place in honor of our son who was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and is now a young adult. When he entered high school, we searched for the right after school program and struggled to find something that was both age appropriate and safe. Frustrated with our empty search, and knowing we are not the only parents struggling with this, we decided to open our own facility for special needs teenagers. After quickly realizing it wasn’t just teenagers who could use our help, our original vision has grown to include a day program for adults as well. It is important to us that everyone have a place to go during the day or after school where they can feel welcome, nurtured and cared for.

We are hiring for two positions:

🔹 HCBS Assistant (Home & Community Based Services)
Help support our HCBS team through administrative coordination, communication with families and providers, scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day office operations. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping others.

🔹 Porter/Handyman
Help keep our facilities, grounds, and vehicles safe, clean, and running smoothly. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is mechanically inclined, and enjoys staying active while making a difference behind the scenes.

Our 6th Birthday Celebration continued last night with one of our favorite annual traditions: a Diamondbacks game at Chase Field! 💙⚾

Every year, we celebrate another year of Tyler's Place by bringing together our members, families, and staff for a fun night at the ballpark.

About 40 of us traveled by bus to Chase Field, while others met us there for an evening of baseball, all-you-can-eat seats, lots of laughs, and great memories with friends.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make another Tyler's Place anniversary celebration so special. We are grateful to celebrate six amazing years with such an incredible community! 🎉🧡💙

What an amazing day! From our very own DJ and dance party to BBQ, our soda station, and a special visit from Brandon with . It was the perfect way to celebrate this milestone.

To our members, families, staff, and supporters—thank you for being part of the Tyler's Place family. Your love and support over the past six years have helped create something truly special, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Recap time! 🎉 Check out all the fun from last week's programs!

🐓 Our adults kicked off the week with a visit from our rooster friend at and later in the week enjoyed a movie outing!

🍦 Our teens stayed busy with Zumba and , a sweet ice cream treat, and wrapped up the week with a fun visit to the Arizona Natural History Museum.

🎨 Our Saturday Respite Night kids had a blast creating arts and crafts before welcoming our friends from for some active fun!

We're a little late sharing, but we couldn't let the photos go unseen!

Last week was a fun one at Tyler's Place. Our adults celebrated the 4th of July with festive activities, and we also got to celebrate the birthday of one of our longest-standing members! 🎉❤️🤍💙

We also wrapped up our final week of Teen Summer Camp. We packed a lot into the week and had a great time ending the summer with our teens before everyone heads back to their regular routines. Until next summer, campers!
