Drumming Sounds came to visit us again with all of their drums. We enjoyed a fun afternoon trying new rhythms and keeping the beat.
Music therapy is a helpful, non-medical way to support people with dementia. It calms the mind, unlocks memories, and encourages movement.

At Parkland we love all the therapy dogs who come to visit us. This time we decided to try a different approach to animal therapy. Creature Kingdom is a local exotic mobile petting zoo, and they always surprise us with something new. We never know what kind of animals we will get to hold when they visit. This time we got to see furry, feathery, and even scaly animals. This is bringing animal therapy to a whole new level!
