Most people think pelvic floor = kegels.
But your pelvic floor is meant to move with your breath.
When you inhale, it should gently lengthen.
When you exhale, it should lift and support.
If you’re constantly:
holding your breath
gripping your core
or pushing/straining
your body loses that natural coordination, and that’s when symptoms start to show up:
leakage, urgency, pressure, pain.
This is why in pelvic floor therapy, we don’t start with kegels.
We start with breath and coordination.
Because strength without coordination doesn’t fix the problem.
Start here. It matters more than you think!
