The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is reporting over 200 cases of cyclosporiasis, a parasitic illness that causes gastrointestinal symptoms, as infections continue to rise during the summer months.

UNC Health infectious disease specialist Dr. David Weber discussed this condition with ABC11 WTVD.

The journey begins here.

Our Tiny Hands classes (ages 3–4) introduce young artists to drawing, painting, clay, collage, printmaking, and more in a warm, encouraging environment. Along the way, they'll build fine motor skills, confidence, and a love of creating through hands-on exploration.

Each class is limited to just 6 students to ensure plenty of individual attention. For children who are not yet ready to be separated from their adult caregiver, we recommend enrolling in our "Preschoolers and Parents" class instead, which follows the same curriculum with an adult participating alongside the child.

Classes meet weekly throughout the school year. Enrollment is now open on our website.
