⚠️ SCAM ALERT ⚠️

We have been informed that individuals may be receiving phone calls from someone claiming to represent a firefighter association and requesting donations for Camp Celebrate.

If you receive a call requesting a donation, please do not provide payment or personal information until you have verified the fundraiser. Hang up and contact the firefighter association directly using a phone number found on its official website or social media page, rather than a number provided by the caller.

Firefighter associations and fire departments are valued supporters of our programs and may organize legitimate fundraising events throughout the year. However, unsolicited phone requests are not a typical donation route for Camp Celebrate or the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center.

Thank you for helping us protect our community and ensure donations reach the intended program!

💙 Happy Camp Counselor Appreciation Day! 💙
Today, we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make our Aftercare programs possible. Our counselors do so much more than supervise activities. They build confidence, celebrate milestones, calm anxious moments, cheer the loudest, listen without judgment, and remind every survivor that they belong.
Thanks to them, children and teens leave camp with new friendships, greater confidence, unforgettable memories, and the knowledge that they are never alone.
From all of us at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of burn survivors and their families.
We are so grateful for each and every one of you. 💙

Five years of giving 💙

Earlier this week, and for the fifth year in a row, Elana returned to the NC Jaycee Burn Center with an amazing donation of toys for our patients.

As a survivor herself, Elana knows that healing is about more than medicine. A favorite toy, a moment of joy, and knowing someone cares can make all the difference during a hospital stay.

Watching our staff welcome Elana back with hugs says it all. She isn't just dropping off toys—she's giving hope, comfort, and reminding our youngest patients that brighter days are ahead.

Elana, thank you for your generous heart and for choosing to give back year after year. We are so proud of the compassionate, inspiring young woman you have become. Here's to five incredible years—and many more to come. 💙🧸✨
