July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month.
A cleft lip or palate affects far more than a child’s smile. It can make eating, speaking, and healthy development a daily struggle.

In much of Guatemala, the surgery that changes that is out of reach. At the Shalom Foundation’s Moore Pediatric Surgery Center, it’s provided completely free, and this November our Finn Plastic Surgery surgical team travels there to perform it.

The consultation is where rhinoplasty actually begins.
Before we ever talk about surgery, Dr. Sowder wants to hear exactly what’s been bothering you about your nose. Not what you think you should say. Not what you’ve seen on someone else. What you don’t like.

Then we use 3D morphing software to show you what’s possible, so you can see your potential result before you commit to anything and ensure you and Dr. Sowder are on the same page.

That conversation shapes everything that happens in the OR.
If you’ve been thinking about rhinoplasty and don’t know where to start, a consultation is the place.

Not every rhinoplasty starts by removing.
When possible, Dr. Sowder prefers a structural preservation rhinoplasty approach because it focuses on preserving your natural nasal structures rather than reshaping them by removing more tissue than necessary.

The goal is simple: create a nose that looks balanced, functions well, and fits your face without looking “done.”
In this reel, Dr. Sowder explains why preservation rhinoplasty over reduction has become his preferred technique for many patients and who may be a good candidate.

It represents years of additional training, rigorous testing, and an ongoing commitment to the highest standards in patient care.

In this reel, Dr. Sowder explains what double board certification really means and why it matters when choosing your surgeon.

One Year. Natural refinement. Timeless results.

A well-executed rhinoplasty shouldn’t change who you are. It should bring balance to your features while preserving the character that makes your face uniquely yours.

At 1 year post-op, you can see:
• A smoother, more refined nasal profile
• Improved facial harmony from every angle
• Results that look like they belong to the patient, not the surgeon

1 year is a huge milestone for rhinoplasty patients. The healing and evolution of the nose following rhinoplasty is a long one that patients and surgeons alike must to be prepared to endure.

And while the process may not be completely finished at the one year mark, for a large percentage of patients, it gives an accurate portrayal of how things will look going forward.

The best compliment after rhinoplasty? “You look great.”
Not “Who did your nose?”

Traditional breast augmentation works by cutting through the tissue it moves. Preservé is built to work around it.

It’s a minimally invasive technique that reshapes the breast while conserving its natural structure. Instead of disrupting your native tissue, specialized tools gently elongate it to nest around the implant, an approach designed to protect sensation and keep the device stable over time.

Paired with Motiva’s SmoothSilk Ergonomix2 implant, Preservé is designed for smaller scars, a softer result, and a recovery that gets you back to your life sooner.

Wondering if you’re a candidate? The first step is a conversation.

You’ve spent decades taking care of everyone else. Maybe now it’s time to let someone take care of you.

Many of our face rejuvenation patients are in a season of life where surgery simply makes sense. Their careers have slowed down or they’ve retired, their schedules are more flexible, and they finally have the time to dedicate to healing without feeling rushed back to work or family obligations.

But the biggest reason they choose surgery isn’t to look younger. It’s because the reflection in the mirror no longer matches how vibrant, energetic, and engaged they feel inside.

A thoughtfully performed facelift, neck lift, eyelid surgery, or facial rejuvenation procedure isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about restoring harmony between your appearance and the life you’re still actively living.

If you’ve been thinking, “I still feel like me... I just don’t look like me anymore,” it may be the right time to explore your options.

Schedule a consultation with Finn Plastic Surgery to learn which approach is best suited to your goals and anatomy.

Halo is a complete laser resurfacing treatment. This treatment stimulates collagen, improves overall skin tone and texture, removes discoloration, reduces fine lines, minimizes pore size, and enhances skin reflectivity and glow. Halo results will last for years, but this treatment does not stop the natural aging process.

Patients should continue to keep their skin protected at all times with a broad-spectrum sunscreen to preserve their fresh, new, glowing skin.

Botox isn’t something you do to your face. It’s something you manage with intention.

At Finn Plastic Surgery, every Botox treatment is performed by a physician. That matters because great results are about far more than placing injections. They require a deep understanding of facial anatomy, muscle balance, aging patterns, and long-term treatment planning.

How long your results last isn’t only about the product itself. Timing, dosage, technique, and what your body is experiencing before and after treatment all play a role.

The goal was never frozen. It’s precise. Balanced. Sustainable.
That’s why physician-led Botox matters. It’s not about using more. It’s about knowing exactly where, when, and how much to use to create natural-looking results that age well.
When Botox is done well, it doesn’t announce itself. It simply looks right.
