Eyes need a little lift?
Not every tired-looking eye needs surgery. For some patients, a prescription eye drop called Upneeq® may help temporarily lift low-lying upper eyelids and create a more awake, refreshed appearance in as little as a few minutes.
Upneeq is FDA-approved for adults with acquired ptosis (drooping eyelids) and is designed to be used once daily. It can be a great option for patients who notice one eyelid sitting lower than the other or who feel their eyes look tired even when they are well rested.
The best treatment always starts with the right diagnosis. In some cases, drooping eyelids may be related to anatomy, aging, or other medical conditions, which is why an evaluation with an experienced provider is important.
