You start feeling better. You let your guard down. Then you look away for a second, and you slip.
🧠I was walking behind my barn this week, looking at my phone instead of my feet, and twisted my ankle on one wrong rock. It stopped me cold, because I wasn’t watching the path in front of me.
That’s how it goes early in recovery from screen compulsions. The slip feels bigger than it is, like you’ve lost all your progress. You haven’t. It’s just a rock in the road. Put the screen down, lock in, and take one intentional step after another.
👉🏻 Tell me in the comments: where did you feel like you tripped this week? Naming the rock is the first step.
