SYNC (Strengthening Systems for North Carolina Children) brought together community teams, partners, and prevention leaders from across North Carolina at the 2026 SYNC Summit to celebrate progress and strengthen approaches to preventing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
Breakout sessions featured Abigail Coffey, MPH, CHES on communicating about ACEs, Vichi Jagannathan on testing systems change ideas through small experiments, and Sable N. Watson, PhD, MPH, on evidence-based initiatives that demonstrate what systems change looks like in practice.
