Thrive Acupuncture

Thrive Acupuncture Thrive Acupuncture is a full service holistic healthcare clinic specializing in chronic pain, women? Janna Siegel, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.

Thrive Acupuncture is the manifestation of an exploration of the benefits of feeling good. Be it physical or emotional, our happiness is compromised when we experience pain or discomfort. From your first consultation, we will work together to identify the areas of your health you seek to change and the origin of these imbalances. Drawing from Chinese medicine and other Eastern holistic medicinal t

herapies, including acupuncture, herbal formulas, nutritional counseling, bodywork, and yoga, we will address these concerns, restoring the body to it’s optimal state of wellness and working to maintain this equilibrium long after your treatments are complete. At Thrive Acupuncture, the emphasis is on the individual, with focus on creating lasting change from the inside out. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all health care, nor do I believe that physical health is separate from mental health. I do believe that real change requires adaptability and commitment, and addressing problems at the root will heed the best results. As the body transforms, so do the healing techniques I apply. My goal as a practitioner is to give you the most comprehensive care possible, working within the realistic parameters of your lifestyle and my abilities. If your curiosity is piqued, take the first step and schedule your appointment today. I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York, a certified diplomate with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and hold a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. My training includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina (therapeutic body work), Eastern nutrition, and various other complimentary healing modalities. I have undergone two separate certifications for sexual assault and violence intervention counseling. I am also a 500-hour certified, registered yoga teacher. Using traditional Chinese medicine as the foundation, I draw from my multi-disciplinary background to address the specific needs of each patient and provide a holistic and comprehensive treatment plan focusing on long-term health goals.

There's had a bad night's sleep tired, and then there is the kind of bone tired from a body stuck in a stress response for so long you can't remember the last time you had enough energy to function well.

Heart 5 (HT-5) - The Flowering of Our Inner Nature; Penetrating the Interior
HT-5 is an access point to the energies of love and joy, our deepest inner warmth and light, that when unobstructed can fill our minds, bodies and spirts with the vitality and vision to share our unique and pure love, gifts and radiance with all that we encounter.
Clinically, this point is used to treat:
🀍 emotional dysregulation
🀍 mood swings
🀍 anxiety
🀍 speech disorders
🀍 headaches
🀍 dizziness
🀍 visual disturbance
As we approach summer and the season of the heart, it is important to nurture our spirit so we can connect with the abundant joy available in the months to come.

Just as each passing year has its seasons, so do our lives. There are changes that come with age. There are circumstances that arise that require a shift in behavior and perspective. Sometimes everything clicks and joy is abundant. Sometimes we are fighting just to get by. Through it all, the highs, the lows and the plateaus, we are here for you. To meet you where you are. To honor what you need in this season.
