It’s hard to describe just how amazing today was. Our community event was incredible, providing opportunities for people to learn lifesaving skills. I could talk all day about it but let’s just say we exceeded our goal of 10 people coming to the event!

Thank you to everyone who made this day an absolute success.

Saefkow Training Center CPR & First Aid had a great time at the Fit4Mom Lake County Celebration of Mama event in The City of Willoughby.

We provided free infant and adult CPR demos and gave everyone the opportunity to “touch an AED” and find out how they work (spoiler alert: they really are easy and safe to use!!).

Special shoutout to my husband Steve Saefkow who helped with setup, teardown, feeding us lunch, and fielding my three kids as they raced around the event!

If you are a mama and you need a community, Fit4Mom Lake County is your place!

What a great opportunity!

What a great opportunity!

June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month. This year, Geauga County Job and Family Services Adult Protective Services will be offering a 15-minute Dementia Experience for registered attendees on June 1st, conducted by Geauga County Department on Aging 's very own Vicki Zanella, Adult Day Service Coordinator.

These 15-minute sessions will mimic what is it like for those living in our community who have dementia. This offers a firsthand look at their struggles and provides valuable insight into their world.

There are still a few spots available-sign up here-https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4CADAB2CA3FFC61-63382744-dementia

Join us in recognizing the importance of protecting and supporting older adults in our community.
