Saefkow Training Center provides high-quality CPR, AED, and First Aid training for individuals, families, and workplaces throughout Northeast Ohio. We offer American Heart Association and HSI-aligned courses, including:
• CPR & AED (Adult, Child, Infant)
• First Aid & Pediatric First Aid
• Babysitter Safety & Preparedness
• Healthcare & Community Certifications

Founded and led by Sarah Saefkow, RN, former EMT, our classes are taught with real-world experience from emergency, ICU, and pre-hospital care. Our goal is simple: build confidence, reduce fear, and prepare everyday people to act in emergencies. Classes are available for the community, private groups, schools, churches, and businesses. On-site training and flexible scheduling available.

This morning, we had an absolute blast at a CPR/AED/First Aid skills session for The Camelot Center in Southington. Their staff and volunteers worked hard to watch the videos before class then practiced skills for a couple of hours. Their commitment to safety for their students and families is inspiring!

The Camelot Center is a nonprofit Equine Assisted Therapy barn with a mission is to help others grow and excel through their interactions with horses. If you're in the area, check out their upcoming events and stop by to see their truly impressive new indoor arena.

We also did a quick inspection of their AED while we were at it and explained how to use their Philips HeartStart.

By the way, we practiced compressions on the barn floor. No clean floor? No problem! We bring CPR training to you and we make it fun.

The most meaningful thing that we do is train the younger generation. They are the ones watching. They are the ones that will someday take care of us and the world around us.

Just a Friday reflection. We hope you have a great weekend and keep building something meaningful for yourself, your family, and your community.

This opportunity to teach CPR and basic first aid skills at The Learning Haven was truly special, and I already miss the warmer weather from a few months ago!

Back to School means safety for Agape Christian Academy and Berkshire Local Schools!

15 more staff have been fully trained in HSI: Emergency Care Pediatric First Aid and CPR all ages using top-quality PRESTAN Products manikins (the “Robert family”, iykyk 🤣).
