One of the greatest shifts in my own work happened when I realized something.
The body doesn't usually communicate through one symptom.
It communicates through patterns.
For years, I listened to women tell me about fatigue.
Then brain fog.
Then digestive changes.
Then headaches.
Then joint pain.
They'd often pause and say,
"I know none of this is probably connected..."
But over the years, I started noticing something I couldn't ignore.
The same groups of symptoms kept showing up together.
Not once.
Not occasionally.
Over and over again.
That observation changed the way I practice.
Because I stopped asking,
"Which symptom should we focus on?"
And started asking,
"What pattern is this body expressing?"
That one question changed everything.
It taught me that the body doesn't usually communicate in single words.
It communicates in stories.
And patterns are how those stories begin to make sense.
That's why body literacy matters so much.
Not because it teaches us to diagnose ourselves.
But because it teaches us to listen differently.
To become curious.
To recognize that what feels random may actually be remarkably consistent.
Because your body is not broken.
It's communicating.
And the more fluent you become in its language...
The more clearly you'll begin to understand its story.
