Flashback to my days at Thompson Healthcare and Sports Medicine in NJ. We alternated back and forth between the infrared heat lamps and the heated bulb lamps. The advantage of the infrared lamp is that it gets to the muscle layer, but takes much longer to warm up. The heated bulb is hot immediately so you don’t have to keep it on all day just to maintain an adequate temperature. We are currently using infrared at Johns Island Acupuncture. Shown in this pic is an Achilles tendonitis protocol.

Everyone wish Greg aka Defender of the Universe safe travels to Germany where he will be for the next 6 months. Saturdays won’t be the same this spring and summer, but we will hold the fort down. Have fun working and traveling in Europe. Try not to Alpha too many Germans in the gym.
