Because it is back to school time, I’m reminded this month of all the mamas that pushed through to get their degree – overcoming so many obstacles! I’ve heard it said by many of them, that Choices helped eased the pressure of trying to do it all on their own. We have been their encourager, provider, listening ear, and advisor. We'd like to give a big shoutout of appreciation to the KOZ Boys from Casey First Baptist Church for their help cleaning up a little overgrown landscaping for the Casey center and one of our sweet neighbors. We are so thankful for the hard work of this incredible group of young men and their leaders. If you're not familiar with the "KOZ Boys" (Kids Outdoor Zone), it is an outdoor adventure ministry for boys 3rd-12th grade that provides boys with male mentors to direct and train them in outdoor skills and becoming a Godly men.
