⚾ Baseball season means a lot of throwing, sliding, and swinging, and that adds up on young players' bodies. Here are five injuries we see often this time of year, and the good news is that most can be treated without surgery when caught early.

Shoulder Pain-
Repetitive throwing strains the rotator cuff. Built for mobility, not endless overhead reps, the shoulder is often the first to complain.

Elbow Pain-
The UCL, a key elbow ligament, takes on real stress with repeated throwing. Caught early, it rarely needs surgery.

Hand & Wrist-
Jammed fingers, sprains, and sore wrists come with swinging, sliding, and the occasional hit by pitch. Most settle down with time and protection.

Knee Pain-
Sprinting, sliding, and squatting behind the plate load the knee's tendons and cartilage. Patellar tendinitis and minor meniscus irritation are common and usually manageable.
