🩸🚑 A New Era of Emergency Care is Here. 🚑🩸

KCEAA is proud to announce we'll be launching our Prehospital Blood Transfusion Program very soon, bringing life-saving blood directly to patients before they reach the hospital.

When someone is suffering from severe blood loss, every second matters. By carrying blood products in the field, our crews can begin critical treatment sooner, giving patients the best possible chance at survival.

❤️ Earlier blood transfusions can save lives
❤️ Faster treatment for trauma and critical emergencies
❤️ Improved care for patients in rural communities and during longer transports
❤️ Another step forward in bringing advanced medicine directly to our community

This program represents our continued commitment to innovation, excellence, and providing the highest level of care when our community needs us most.

Because the best place to start saving a life isn't the hospital, it's at the patient's side.

Check out the photos of our crew going through blood refresher training in preparation for the PHBT program launch!

🎉 Please join us in celebrating the outstanding efforts of one of our crews!

While responding to a call, their warmth and positive attitude made for a great patient experience. Here's what the family had to say...

"We couldn’t have ask for a better crew. They were so sweet, made us all feel comfortable, legit took every possible measure to make her feel comfortable. When we finally got to see her around 1am, the first thing she said was that they were so good to her.
So giving roses when they are due, Thank you for loving on her."

Nick and Adam - Your KCEAA family thanks you for continuing to provide the best care for the members of our community!👏👏👏
