Children are spending more time staring at screens than ever. Too much screen time can lead to eye strain, headaches, and dry eyes, but small adjustments can make a big difference.

Protect your childโ€™s sight by:
๐Ÿ”น Using the 20-20-20 Rule - Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
๐Ÿ”น Checking the Distance - Keep screens an arms length away and at eye level.
๐Ÿ”น Encouraging Outdoor Play - Time outside gives your eyes a break and supports healthy visual development.
๐Ÿ”น Limiting Extra Use - Establish limits on non-school screen time, especially before bed.

Palliative Care - Focused on improving quality of life and managing symptoms for those with serious illness. Itโ€™s a fantastic resource to help your family clearly understand medical treatment choices (Note: This does require a providerโ€™s referral).


Interim Caregiver Support - If your loved one has traditional Medicare, Interim provides incredible support. You can access up to 77 hours of paid, in-home care (used in 4-hour blocks) to assist with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, transportation, etc.

Area Agencies on Aging - A vital hub for senior services, offering everything from personal care and homemaker services to senior-center transportation, respite care, and hands-on family caregiver education.

Simply Seniors - A local organization dedicated to providing personalized education and direct guidance on navigating senior care resources.
