Job Title: Front Desk Clerk
Job Type: Full Time 36 hrs/week
Location: Charleston, WV
Job Description:
As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Assisting with various front office duties, including patient check-in and/ or check-out.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Collaborating with other staff members to enhance the patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and technology, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and compassionate demeanor.
