Recently, our residents had fun exploring mood rings and seeing which colors appeared! 💍 We had plenty of “fun, relaxed, and happy” readings, along with several “calm and comfortable” results. It was a fun way to compare colors, spark conversation, and enjoy a little nostalgia together.

✨ July Resident Spotlight: Annette "Tony" ✨

Tony is originally from Georgetown, New York, and moved to Charleston in the late 1990s. She loves Ashley Park because of the wonderful people and the many activities and opportunities to stay busy.

Tony is a proud mother of two children. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, and keeping up with world news and politics.

Tony was born in January 1938 and believes that every day is a true blessing. Her advice to others is simple: “Honesty is the best policy.”

We are grateful to have Tony as part of the Ashley Park community and appreciate the positivity, wisdom, and energy she brings each day!

A trip back to the 1970s was in full swing during our Taste of the 70s event! ✌️🪩 Residents and guests enjoyed 70s-themed snacks and had fun showing off temporary tattoos inspired by the decade. It was a fun way to celebrate the style, flavors, and nostalgia of the era.

Ashley Park is lucky to have such a wonderful team member in Janet, our Sous Chef. With over 40 years of experience as a chef, Janet brings passion, dedication, and a love for cooking to her role every day.

Janet cares deeply for our residents and enjoys creating meaningful connections with everyone in the community. Her kindness and commitment make a lasting impact on those around her.

Outside of work, Janet enjoys singing, dancing, and cooking. She is also a proud mother and grandmother.

Janet’s advice to others is simple and heartfelt: “Treat everyone fairly. Always be kind, and the blessings will follow you.”
