Shannon is one of our amazing pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists!

Originally from Rochester, New York, Shannon has experience working across early intervention, schools, and skilled nursing—but her passion has always been helping young children and their families thrive. Her sessions are full of parent coaching, silly songs, and plenty of laughter as she helps little ones build their communication skills.

✨ Meet Ginny! ✨

As the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Spoken Word Children’s Therapy, Ginny brings years of experience helping children develop communication skills and confidence. She has worked in public school settings across Washington and South Carolina, supporting children with a variety of speech and language needs.

Outside of work, Ginny is a military spouse, a soon-to-be proud mom of three, and enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring Charleston’s beautiful beaches with her family.

We are so thankful for Ginny’s leadership, expertise, and dedication to the families we serve every day! 💙

As Walker turns 3, we’re celebrating his graduation from therapy after meeting all of his goals! From construction activities to movement-filled games, Walker used every opportunity to build his independence, self-advocacy, and creativity.

We’re so proud of all he has accomplished and can’t wait to see what he builds next. 💙🚧
