🌟 Resident Spotlight: Ben 🌟

This month, we are excited to spotlight Ben, who has been a valued member of the River Crossing Assisted Living family for the past year!

Ben grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and throughout his life he has been dedicated to hard work and building a successful career. In 1968, he founded Adkins Export and Packing and Machinery Movers, a business that reflected his strong work ethic and determination.

When he wasn’t working, Ben enjoyed spending time outdoors. His favorite hobbies have always been hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to appreciate nature and enjoy time doing what he loves.

These days, what makes Ben smile most is spending time with his very special friend, Miss Mary. Their friendship brings joy and happiness to his days.

When asked about the words he lives by, Ben shared, “The School of Hard Knocks.” Through life’s experiences, challenges, and successes, Ben has gained wisdom and strength that continue to inspire those around him.

Thank you, Ben, for sharing your story and for being such an important part of our River Crossing family!
