This morning's walk through the woods is a reminder of the arrival of Fall. So many leaves have dropped! Peaceful mornings with our herd as we head to the barn for breakfast. 🥰

There are days when our healing support can seem so deep and intense that there needs to be a balance in this work...Read Write Ride is exactly that balance for Wildfire Dreams. What a surprise to find 12 letters to our healing herd in the mailbox this evening. Genuine Joy for being at the farm, learning to ride, learning to read and write. The next generation can continue to grow their skills, their patience, their character on a small horse stable in Charlevoix, where peace lives. 🥰🐎

Girls Horse Camp has ended and what an incredible summer these girls had. They've been riding with me for 4 summers... and this year all that work paid off. Whether we were in the arena or out on the trail, they umderstood connection, balance amd trust.... along with many other life skills! Resilience, responsibility, problem solving, patience, listening, and empathy. Best summer!!!
